Western Riding In Scotland

This website has been set up to provide information on the various activities that are happening in Scotland in relation to Western equestrianism.

Western riders are represented in Scotland by a number of organisations. Events and gatherings are arranged by each of them and sometimes they pool their resourses to run joint events e.g. shows.

The western riding organisations currently contributing to this website are:-

  • The Western Equestrian Society  (WES)
  • The American Quarter Horse Association UK  (AQHA)
  • Scottish Reining
  • Scottish Appaloosas
  • The Western Performance Pony Association   (WPPA)

Information posted by these organisations can be found under the corresponding page button.

At the top of each page you will see the dates on which amendments have been made.  This may save you from having to read the content over and over again to find the new stuff.
